My Xbox 360 Reads Games as Dvds
Have these games worked earlier? Accept all of them suddently stopped working?

Sounds like information technology needs repair if the discs are not damaged i would contact MS repairs and discuss this with them or use the online tool too diagnose the trouble yourself though too me information technology sounds similar your disc's are not beingness read correctly

I've had this problem earlier. After talking with the folks at xbox support, they determined that my xbox's disc drive had died, and needed to be replaced. In the end I had to replace the drive. I would advise contacting xbox back up, at one-800-4MY-XBOX, they can help you lot trouble shoot your drive, and determine if this truly is the case.

Concord on. I've had this problem before as stated above this is 'other options' but practice other game's work on your panel or isit just every single game ? It could be your actual disk and not your Xbox. Try cleaning the disks with a cloth or become a disk cleaner simply try other game's via that console. If no game'south read properly and then you can contact customer service to become your Xbox repaired.

Sorry if i'm jumping to conclusions, merely I assumed you had tried multiple discs when y'all said "some games". If you oasis't, I would definitely advise trying to cleaning the disk and checking for scratches, as Digitas Curtis suggested.

I say you should use multiple disc, this has happened to me before after watching a DVD, i say keep switching discs over and over i did and after a while, it worked for me, i promise this will help you lot out

Take the xbox to a local repair store if none of these answers work it volition be a problem with the disc bulldoze if anything else it will be repaired and will feel brand new if yous take it to your store if its in warranty use the xbox repair service if not a local shop would be best recommended

Yes, if it continues irej98, i have had this problem that's why i don't insist on using DVDs in my onetime 360, the way i would set mine would to be switching discs over and over, in and out , some times it would take me 4 disc swaps, one time it taken me like l swaps.
p.s it non your discs its the Xbox only try this, it happens sometime later playing a DVD in old 360 like mine
